workshops in the (real) whirled

from time to time I am again travelling to teach ::

when we gather together around a cauldron, we create community. it is a lot like meeting at the village well. there are waves of laughter, times of deep companionable silence. we cut and stitch and bundle. we write poetry. sometimes someone will begin to sing.

I love the companionable breaking of bread together, the quiet walks and the shared joy when bundles are opened with ceremony, and while I am deeply grateful to the kind folk who have signed up to the School of Nomad Arts, where we are now metaphorically sailing our armchairs around the village well, I treasure those rare occasions when we are able to gather in person…

presently there are two places left in the last Northern hemisphere retreat of 2024
